You will:

  • Develop your skills, confidence and creative voice, gaining experience in technical skills like audio recording, editing & graphic design, creative and content skills like content planning, scriptwriting, storytelling & interviewing, and interpersonal skills like communication, project management, marketing, creativity

  • Help tell the stories of Peterborough’s arts and music scenes, and the history of Peterborough

  • Attend monthly planning meetings

  • Receive a bursary of £750 to cover travel and expenses to attend

  • Access training and mentoring opportunities

  • Meet inspiring artists, creatives and leaders of arts, heritage and cultural organisations

Culture Talks exists to bust the myths that Peterborough is a cultural cold spot and there's no place in local culture for young, diverse communities. We created the show to rewrite this narrative and help more young people feel the same sense of Belonging in Peterborough that we do. - Eva, co-founder
